Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Documents
On September 21, 2010, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency approved a new joint Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) to limit trash in the Anacostia River in both the District of Columbia, and the state of Maryland, making the Anacostia the first interstate river in the nation with such a Clean Water Act trash limit.
