DC Environmental Education Consortium: A consortium of organizations that provide environmental education, DCEEC works closely with the District of Columbia Public Schools. This site provides information on environmental education resources available in the District.

1. Select the subject area that you would like to explore. Most environmental issues are captured within the "Environment" category, although some related issues may also be found within other categories. 
 
2. Select the data set you wish to explore, as well as the format in which you wish to explore it. For example, clicking on the icon in the "KML" column will allow you to see the data in Google Earth format.
 
3. Enter the information requested and click "Accept."
 
4. If you chose KML data and have installed Google Earth, your data will be displayed automatically. If you have chosen another format, you will be prompted to open or save the data you have selected.
 
US Environmental Protection Agency, Region 3:  Region 3 of the EPA includes the District of Columbia and surrounding states.
 
Performance Indicators for Infrastructure and the Environment: These indicators are in place for all District agencies and are overseen by the Office of the City Administrator. The agencies in this section have particular functions that relate to protecting the District's environment.
